Observational Drawing
I really enjoy observational drawing as a way to practice my art without having to deal with being creative and coming up with an idea. I like to do these quickly in 30 minutes. They're the most fun to do in boring lectures!
A fun way to experiment with these drawings is by playing with perspective and choosing what view to take it from. You can also choose to frame the image in a certain way to emphasize certain parts.
A challenge with observational drawings is the fact that people move during the time it takes to make the drawing, so a good amount of improvisation happens during the process. Sometimes you have to choose to include and not include certain people because of how they've moved during the drawing time.
Cooking
I love to cook, though I'm not very good at it. Now that I'm in college I think it's a good idea to learn how to cook and meal prep. Meal prepping is how I make sure I stay well fed and energetic throughout my busy scheudle
I enjoy cooking with friends too! Being able to make food with people is always a good way to make friends. Cooking food with people is a good and affordable way to work and something together and be able to enjoy it in the end.
